Youth Basketball Coaches Clinic
Prior to each sport season the City of Fort Worth Athletics Section conducts a mandatory youth sports coaches clinic. The City of Fort Worth Athletics Section will discuss the Coaches Manual and Rules for the upcoming season. NYSCA training will also be held for all coaches. If you coached last year with the city then you must renew your membership, new coaches are required to go through the two part training before they will be granted membership. It is mandatory that all coaches be NYSCA certified. The clinic will be held the Saturday prior to the beginning of the season.
Youth Basketball Players Clinic
Prior to each sport season the City of Fort Worth Athletics Section conducts a youth sports players clinic. All youth participants are invited and encouraged to attend this beneficial event. Players will be taught basic basketball fundamentals by highly qualified coaches and volunteers. This is a great opportunity for players of all ages to learn new skills or brush up on forgotten fundamentals. Start the new basketball season right by attending the free clinic. The clinic will be held the Saturday prior to the beginning of the season.
